What’s happening over the Tyers Art Festival Weekend 2024.
Running from Friday 8 November to Sunday 10 November, it's a fun weekend for all and we hope to see you. You'll find all the details below of what's happening during the weekend. The Tyers Music, Food and Wine Festival will not be occurring this year.

Once you've enjoyed your time at the Tyers Art Festival, make the most of your weekend in the area and head over to another wonderful local event, the International Rose Garden Festival in Morwell, running over the 8 and 9 November!

Live Entertainment by ‘Fields of White’

Fields of White are a husband and wife duo based in Gippsland, with several years’ experience in the local music scene. The duo combines Naomi’s sweet vocal tones with Barry’s fluent, funky keys and acoustic guitar to cover a range of styles from ballads to blues. They enjoy taking well known songs and covering them in unique and different ways, so you may hear something you know but not in the way you know it.

Tyers Art Festival Exhibition – 10am to 4pm – Tyers Hall

Entry is $7 for adults (at the door). Come for a day out to see the artwork. You'll also be able to see who are the winners of our fantastic awards.

Food Stop food truck will be providing coffee and a range of food to enjoy.

International Rose Garden Festival

Everything’s coming up roses for the International Rose Garden Festival

The International Rose Garden Festival Morwell is back for 2024 in mid-November to showcase the roses and garden in season and in full bloom. The festival program has evolved to deliver family-friendly activities and entertainment. Showcasing the international award-winning Rose Garden in the heart of Morwell and celebrating the work of the Friends of the Rose Garden Volunteers, the 2024 Festival promises to be a blooming spectacle of colour and light for all ages.

This year’s festival will be held Friday 8 and Saturday 9 November and will feature Costa Georgiadis and his friends dirtgirl and scrapboy from Dirtgirl World, workshops, live music, market stalls, food trucks, roving performers, children’s activities, and a cut rose competition open to all visitors!

The Festival commences with a light show at 6.30pm on Friday night, followed by an 11am start on Saturday where locals and visitors alike can explore the rose gardens and stalls, or participate in free activities. Treat your tastebuds to a traditional Devonshire Tea at the CWA marquee, enjoy a picnic amongst the roses with food from the festival food trucks and chill out to the tunes from local musicians.
