The Tyers Art Festival has been running since 1979 and in 2025 will celebrate its 46th year. This is an amazing achievement, having grown from a small exhibition of local artists taking place in a local residence to becoming one of the major regional art events in Gippsland, attracting entries from throughout Gippsland, Victoria and beyond.
Each year the Tyers Art Festival delivers a vibrant and innovative arts event, providing Gippsland artists and beyond the ability to showcase their work and allow our many supporters and patrons the opportunity to view and purchase unique and original artworks. As always, the Tyers Art Festival is held on the second weekend in November.
Dates for 2025 being Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November 2025 at the Tyers Hall. The Tyers Art Festival Gala Opening is held on the Friday evening from 8 to 11 pm. The exhibition then continues Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 3:00 pm (tickets available at the door). In 2025, the Tyers Art Festival will have a limit of 500 entries.
We’re excited to see everyone’s submissions next year and and will be offering a range of awards as well as a Popular Choice Award, where visitors to the Tyers Art Festival will be able to cast their vote for their favourite piece from all the artist's submissions at the exhibition over the weekend of 7-9 November.
"The Tyers Art Festival is a longstanding, innovative exhibition that responds to and recognises artists at all stages of their art journey across all mediums.
We are most appreciative of the ongoing support we receive from so many artists, both local and further afield, and look forward to seeing what amazing artworks are submitted."
